Payment info is needed to bill you for your solar credits. You get monthly credits on your bill, and SunCentral bills you at a discount.

Your payment information is needed to bill you for the on-bill credits you receive from participating in the community solar farm. We suggest adding a payment method on file to process your monthly solar subscription invoices and to ensure your account and savings are active.

When you subscribe to community solar, you will receive bill credits for a portion of the energy the solar farm generates. Your utility company places these credits on your electric bill; SunCentral then bills you at a discounted rate for the solar energy your portion of the solar farm generated. We ask for payment information to process your payment for your solar subscription, similar to how you pay for your utility bill.
